Beans on Toast

AKA Essex born singer songwriter Jay McAllister, has enjoyed enormous success in the music scene.

His CV includes collaborations with numerous big names including long-term friend and fellow Essex boy, Frank Turner, who has produced some of his music and in turn, he has supported on sold out stadium tours. As well as touring internationally, Beans tours the UK summer festivals and is a regular performer at Boomtown and Glastonbury, where he has played every year since 2007.

A prolific writer, his book ‘Foolhardy Folk Tales’ was released in 2021 which starts with a fictional story set in Essex. He continues to tour constantly and releases a new album each year on his birthday, 1 December.
