Commission Opportunities
- Basildon Artist Open Call, Things Made Public
20 artist commissions are available to practitioners with a connection to Basildon to help develop the town’s UK Town of Culture bid. Successful applicants will receive a £1,000 commission to create new work exploring the people, places, stories and culture that make Basildon what it is. Deadline 9 September 2026.

- Producer Lab, Blown Fuse Theatre
Producer Lab is a five-part workshop series designed to demystify the producing process for early-career creatives, self-producing artists, indie companies and emerging producers. This year, the programme is touring across locations across the East of England including Harlow, Chelmsford, Ipswich and Cambridge.
