Freelancers Rights, Southend Creatives. Friday 18th October.
Southend Creatives are running a free day-long workshop exploring freelancer rights in the creative sector, led by local artists Emma Edmondson and Lu Williams.

Funding and Commissioning Opportunities

Community Voices Commissions, Creative Basildon 
Creative BasildON are looking for proposals for a series of artist commission across the Basildon borough. Selected by a local community panel, projects could include walking trails or arts and cultural events. Five commissions with a fee of £3,600 and a production budget of up to £4,500 are available. Deadline 24 September 2024.

Everyday Heritage Grants, Historic England
Apply for up to £25,000 for the support of heritage projects celebrating working class histories. This time, the grant focuses on buildings or places in rural and coastal locations. Deadline 7 October 2024.
